First Time
Submitted by: Angel
The first time I went Mountain Biking at Blue Marsh, I crashed within 20 feet from start. I got back up and began trekking up the hill in between the tree roots and rocks. I never had such a surge of adrenaline rush through my body. |

Trout Fishing In PA
Submitted by: Tim Shultz
I took my wife Alphy and my son Angelo trout fishing. My wife teased the guys on the fish truck telling them she was going to catch one of those Palominos. The guys looked at me, winked, and said, "Good Luck!" Catching a Palomino trout is basically unheard of. At one point during the trip she screamed "Fish-ON"...Then she began jumping up and down yelling. "It's a Palomino... It's a Palomino.." Sure as heck - It was a MONSTER Palomino. She was grinning from ear to ear. I asked her if she wanted to keep THIS one. Tears came to my eyes as I watched her release that beautiful fish. At least we have a picture... |

One Sick Family
Submitted by: Laurel Anders
Our family loves fishing. From panfish in ponds and creeks to smallmouth in Maine, lake trout in New York and walleye in Lake Erie. My dad and I turn green and "chum" over the side of the boat, but we still love fishing! Are we sick or what?! (Yes, sometimes literally!) |

Biggest catch ever!
Submitted by: L. James Watters III
One of my greatest joys is fishing trash out of our beloved trout stream, The Stony Creek. This is the biggest catch that I ever made. It took 2 months and 6 days to arrange the fishing party. Those included were: The Norristown Dive Team who set the hooks & Janeway towing for their fishing pole. |

Lorimer Trout
Submitted by: Jack Clark
I am 5 1/2 years old, and not a sunny day goes by that I don't ask my Dad to take me fishing. I caught this trout in Lorimer Park, PA in the Spring of 2008 and brought it home to eat. (My Dad has talked me into releasing them from now on !!) |

Fishing Fun
Submitted by: Madison
One time when I went fishing with my family, Uncle Matt got his line stuck on an electric line, and the fishing rod almost came out of his hands. His cheeks got all pink because everybody was laughing. After that was over, I caught a fish. I bet the hook is still there on the line. |

I kept my promise
Submitted by: Dave Yanosko
One August morning I took my 1962 Sea Nymph w/18HP Johnson to the 5 mile trench and got caught in a terrible storm. So I made a promised to the one and only perch I caught. If we make it to shore "I would set you free". And I must say that we were both very happy that day... |
