Fun in FoxburgNewly submitted Traveler Story!
Category: No Categories
Location: Foxburg, PA
Our Foxburg trip started off with the Segway Heritage Tour. The history was fascinating and the segways were really cool. Other stops included the Foxburg Country Club-oldest golf course in the US, and the American Golf Hall of Fame; Divani Chocolate Boutique-mmm!; and awesome dinner at the Black Forest Restaurant und Bier Haus in Parker. After a night at the Foxburg Inn and breakfast at Foxburg Pizza and Country Store, we went kayaking on the Redbank Creek with Redbank Valley Outfitters.

Met my Sweetheart in PANewly submitted Traveler Story!
Category: History & Heritage
Location: Philadelphia
After receiving maps from Visit PA, I became enamored with PA. Then came into contact with a Phila man. I came to tour PA for one week, and it was true love after that. Riding the DUC, biking in Valley Forge, exploring a Polish national church, and fireworks at Longwood Gardens, these were all the beginning of a wonderful relationship. We just married in CA and he took me home to PA: we can now explore PA together!

The LT-What a great weekender!
Category: Outdoor Recreation
Location: Worlds End State Park
My Brother-in-Law (Tom) and I have been talking for some time about a weekend backpacking trip on a solid...moderate trail. At 42 and 52 we knew we needed to consider our own endurance capabilities and stamina. We picked the Loyalsock Trail and found a real gem. Although this trail is challenging, it represents a great 18 mile hike from World's End State Park around Sone's Pond and then back to World's End on the Red (X) Link trail. Try this one if you are an experienced hiker!

An Evening with Old City Taverns
Category: History & Heritage
Location: Old City
This past week I enjoy a wonderful experience in my hometown Philadelphia. Me and my wife signed up to go on a historic pub crawl through Old City’s taverns. We had a colonial host who shared historical facts about the traditions of drinking and lead guests in Colonial drinking songs and toasts. We stopped at four places including historical City Tavern there was food and drinks at every stop. I was shocked by how much I enjoyed my evening it was not only historic but tons of fun!
