  The town of Wellsboro is a perfect example of a well-preserved town complete with a vibrant Main Street, beautiful well-kept homes, and the distinctive gaslights which line the wide boulevards throughout the town. Trees lining the streets and a beautiful central park area add to the ambiance of the town. Wellsboro will be celebrating its 200th anniversary in 2006. The walking tour takes the visitors through the town describing the beautifully maintained homes and buildings of historical significance. Anyone who visits Wellsboro feels like he or she has stepped back in time.
