Day One

Start the morning out with adventure. Head straight to HERSHEYPARK to enjoy rides, shows, games and special events. Beyond the summer months, HERSHEYPARK is open during select days in the fall, winter and spring. While at the park, use the walkway covered bridge that links you to ZOOAMERICA North American Wildlife Park. See our animal kingdom up close! Conclude your day with a visit to Hershey's CHOCOLATE WORLD and unwrap the art of making chocolate as you ride through the simulated factory tour. And for the kid in all of us, leave with memories of your day at HERSHEYPARK with a trinket from the gift shop - unique items you won't find at home. Make dinner plans easy and hassle-free; stop by some of the quaint restaurants in neighboring Hummelstown.

Day Two

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel before gathering the family and spending a second day in Hershey. Stop one: Hershey Gardens where parents will delight when butterflies land on their children's shoulders inside the Butterfly House. From there it is a short drive to the Antique Auto Museum at Hershey where Dad can relish in the exhibits of famous cars used in movies to an interactive area for kids. Plan the remainder of your day over lunch and suggest that the kids explore their creative side at Hummelstown's Toys on the Square to paint pottery before taking in a Hershey Bears hockey game or other seasonal event occurring at the GIANT Center. Everyone will sleep well after another full day of activities in the Heart of Pennsylvania.

Day Three

Conclude your visit to the region with a day in Pennsylvania's Capital City - Harrisburg. Plenty of activity options even for a family with varying tastes. Start with a tour of The Pennsylvania National Fire Museum where the sights and sounds of firefighting come to life. You won't just find artifacts here but a look at modern tools as well. Who wants to see Dinosaur bones? Who wouldn't! Then come to The State Museum of Pennsylvania next on your itinerary and plunge through the pages of Pennsylvania history. Lots of hands-on activities for the little explorers in the Curiosity Connection. Take a late lunch or give the family a mid-day snack at the one of the yummy pizza joints downtown or try a treat at Dunkin' Donuts. Round two can begin with a production at the Popcorn Hat Players inside Strawberry Square or head over to Harrisburg's City Island for a host of activities. Whitaker Center for Science and the Arts sparks the imagination and encourages thought provoking conversations with your family as you try all of the hands-on exhibits in the Harsco Science Center. Evening options include some quiet family time mingling downtown or relaxing at your hotel. Be prepared for kids telling you they aren't ready to go home!
