Route 30 and 40: Handmade Along the Highway

Looking for a weekend that blends museums, galleries, and handcrafted artistry with history and breathtaking vistas? Then we have the perfect roadtrip for you. Handmade Along the Highway takes you along one of our nation's most historic transportation corridors - the coast-to-coast Lincoln Highway (mostly Route 30 in PA) - and provides a little bit of everything the Commonwealth has to offer.

There's so much to see and do on this two-day, 160-mile roadtrip that you'll want to wake early and tour hard to catch it all. We've mapped out some great things to do, but feel free to stop where you like. With illustrious sites like Gettysburg National Military Park and the Flight 93 Memorial, the natural beauty at Shawnee State Park and Caledonia State Park, and craft havens like the Arts & Ends Gallery and Gypsie in the midst, this area of PA won't disappoint.
