Pennsylvania's rich farmlands yield some pretty tasty treats, but our favorites just might be our homegrown beers and wines! From the best ingredients anywhere, we fashion potent potables that pair perfectly with everything from elegant dinners to casual picnics. Enjoy!
Otto's Pub & Brewery
Submitted By: Ken Hull
From my book going LOCAL!
If it wasn’t for the brewer and his fermented drink, one of America’s founding fathers and international ambassador Benjamin Franklin wouldn’t have said “Beer is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy.”
When Otto’s opened in 2002, beer poured out and people poured in. It’s a place where young and old can enjoy some of the best beers and food around.
With a place like Otto’s, the region known as Happy Valley is a whole lot happier!
Enjoy!

Barley Creek Brewing Company

Barley Creek offers a wonderfully relaxing spot for families after a hard day on the slopes or at the water park. We go there in the winter and summer and for great food, fresh beer and excellent service from a warm, friendly staff.

Ren Faire fun
Submitted By: KKinPGH
The Mount Hope Estate and Winery is home to the Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire. I actually worked at this Faire as a wench when I was a senior in high school! It was great fun. The area around the winery is full of cool places to see. Lititz and Manheim are both cute little towns. The Quality Inn used to be called the Treadway.
Wine and wilderness

I love the area around lake Erie. We have some of the finest grape-growing soil and weather anywhere, and the wine produced here is all just wonderful. There's plenty of other stuff to do in he region, too, like cross-country skiing, fishing, and just hanging around Presque Isle. You should come on out and visit.
