"I Want to Ride My Bicycle"
R.I.P. Freddie Mercury
DOB 8/19/??

Where did you grow up, and where do you live now?
I grew up in Bethlehem, Pa., and now I live in Nazareth. I'm trying to hit up all the holy cities.

College?
College? No, thanks.

How long have you been riding/racing?
I actually learned to ride on two wheels before I could speak, and not much has changed since---I can still ride better than I can converse. The 2008 season is my sixth year racing.

What has been your biggest accomplishment?
I guess just being part of a team. When I used to ride 20" flatland bikes in my teens, my dream was to be on a sponsored team. More than a decade later, I accomplished that, but with dirtier and bigger wheels.

Why do you like to ride in Pa.?
I love the change of the seasons and, especially, fall. I love the terrain here, as well. Riding in Pa. really keeps things interesting and makes everywhere else seem a bit easier.

What was your connection to the visitPA.com team?
I met Mike Kuhn at a Tupperware party and one thing led to another. I'll never forget that night.

What was your worst crash?
That would have to be the flight 585 crash. Yes, it was ugly enough that people named it. It was in Bethlehem, and I was trying to launch off the corner of a parking lot. When I landed, my front tire hit a stump and my body Supermanned 20 feet into a street. They thought I was dead, but I came to in a minute or so. I've heard it's on YouTube somewhere, but I never found it.

Nutrition beliefs?
I say whatever---or whoever---you choose to consume, you should have some portion control.

Favorite bike?
That's an easy one: Cannondale Rush Carbon, hands down.

Favorite place to ride?
Any place that doesn't have cell phone reception.

If you were a bike, which one would you be?
Any bike that is women's specific would be a good time, I think.
