Extreme Sports & ATVs
Adrenaline junkies flock to the Keystone State for thrills beyond compare! If you like to jump out of airplanes, scale rock faces, or get all Tony Hawkish on your skateboard, then you're in the right place.

Gliding
One very popular way to defy the law of gravity is by hang gliding at Hyner View State Park. The Keystone Gliderport, at the base of the Bald Eagle Ridge, is fun too---few experiences beat a glider ride over the Susquehanna Valley. World record-holding experts are on hand for flying instruction. The gliderport is world-famous for ridge, thermal, and wave soaring.

Climbing & Skating
Climbers love the Philadelphia Rock Gym, a full-service rock climbing facility that offers introductory classes, outdoor adventures, and event rentals. Are you a skater? Then ESPN X-Games Skate Park is your dream come true. The park features 30,000 square feet of terrain including two halfpipes and a street course with banks, quarterpipes, ledges, and rails.

Freefall!
The Kutztown Skydiving Center is just one place that offers the thrill of freefall. This family-oriented business offers tandem, accelerated freefall, and instructor-assisted first jump programs. Are you ready? Then go for it!

ATV Trails
Calling all riders! Pennsylvania is an awesome place to hit the trail on an all-terrain vehicle. Our many state parks, forests, and organized ATV parks provide ample opportunities to the four-wheeled adventurer.

The vast Allegheny National Forest provides two natural areas with more than 70 miles of trails suitable and safe for ATV fun. The Marienville and Timberline Trails are particularly geared to four-wheel fun. With 40 miles of interconnecting trails traversing forested hills, the Marienville Trail is open to Class I ATVs as well as trail bikes. A variety of difficulty levels means you won't get bored---we promise! This trail can get a little muddy, though---if you don't like that, stick to the Timberline Trail. And the Rocky Gap ATV Trail is a 21.9-mile loop through the Allegheny National Forest that boasts steep slopes on some sections; this trail is recommended for experienced riders.
