Cinema, history, arts and crafts, and music of almost every style are just a few of the interests that bring Pennsylvanians together for festivals. They're an excellent way to meet people who are into the same things you are---and have a great time doing so!
Chambersburg AppleFest
Submitted By: Ted Alexander
Mmmm, you can smell the apple butter cooking! This fall festival, held on the third Saturday of October, celebrates Franklin County's agricultural heritage with everything apples. From caramel-covered apples to apple art, this festival held in downtown Chambersburg spices up Main Street and Lincoln Way with food and craft vendors and plenty of entertainment for the entire family.
Pittsburgh Outdoor Music

I love catching the unique, live music available at festivals and in the parks in southwestern PA, including Hartwood Acres, the Three Rivers Arts Festival in Point State Park, and WYEP's Summer Music Festival.
Wooly Worms

You should not miss the Wooly Worm Festival in Lewisburg. That's right, a wooly worm can predict the weather, and hundreds of them converge upon Lewisburg every fall!
