Underground Railroad Tours of Adams County

01/01/2008 through 12/31/2012

Learn about the people who sought freedom and those who helped them get it in Adams County, just north of the Mason Dixon Line. Visit the last remains of the Yellow Hill Community and see their cemetery. Then sit in an 1880s Quaker meetinghouse and learn how these places became listed on the National Park Service Underground Railroad Network to Freedom. Year-round tours begin at 2699 Heidlersburg Road. Email dmccauslin@gettysburghistories.com or visit gettysburghistories.com for more information.
