NEWTOWN SQUARE, PA

The Paper Mill House, built c. 1770 is history museum of Newtown Township (Newtown Square), PA. The 1st floor is furnished as a colonial reproduction including a General Store. The 2nd floor holds exhibits related to Newtown's history. Meeting space, a gift shop and Township archives are also found in the building. The building is managed by the Newtown Square Historical Preservation Society The Society aims at preserving and promoting the heritage and history of Newtown Square. Over 100 historic sites, including 5 on the National Register can be found in the township. Extensive history and research information can be found on the society's website.
