Christopher Ries, internationally known sculptor, composes light through the medium of glass. His exquisite glass sculptures are included in many public and private collections. The working studio and gallery are housed in a restored 1830's barn situated along the Susquehanna River in the beautiful Endless Mountains. Open M-F and weekends by appointment. Please phone when planning to visit. Michelangleo said, "I saw the angel in the marble and carved until I set him free." Christopher Ries finds his "angels" in glass and uses high tech tools to release the forms he sees. Although he carves glass, it is almost as though Ries sculpts light itself. PISMO Gallery-Aspen
