Bowling in PA
Submitted By: John
We were on our way back from a family get together and the kids needed a bathroom break. We decided to stop in and the Moshannon Valley Super Bowl. This place is amazing. The bathrooms were spotless, well the whole place was so clean. We bowled 3 games a piece and decided to have dinner. We ordered their pizza and was not disappointed. They had a great special running while we were there. The service was fabulous! I recommend it you are in philipsburg to check them out!!!
A Tour from the Master's Grandaughter
Submitted By: Fred Steinberg
A delightful trip to the Brandwine Region, visiting Winterthur Estate, Longwood Gardens and the Brandywine Battlefield, was highlighted by the Brandywine River Museum. We knew that the Museum contained an outstanding collection of three generations of Wyeths. We hooked into a just started tour led by a very knowledgeable young lady. In the section devoted to Andrew, someone asked whether he visited the Museum. The guide said: "Grandpa comes here almost every month." What a kick that was for us.
National Road

When we head East for vacation, we always take this old road. The scenery is beautiful, and we like seeing the old highway markers. It's a lot less stressful than the big highways.
Meadowlands

We used to hang out at Max's Tavern on the South Side (it's closed now, though), and Max always had horseracing on the tv. When we went to try our luck at the Meadows, whom did we see but Max! He was quite a character.

Perhaps because of—or rather in spite of—Pittsburgh's high volume of art museums, a core of intellectually minded pundits dialogue with the immediate scene of creative types.

A first-class ride through Pittsburgh
Submitted By: CJ....
Head on over to Oakland and check out the Carnegie Museums. Get a great view up on Mount Washington. Another really cool part of town you have to see is the Strip District---and if you've never had one, a sandwich from Primanti Brothers is a must.

Start early. Pittsburgh's got a lot goin' on, and you'll need the extra time to check it all out (the city owns the Superbowl title, ya know, so pay attention to it!).
Heading out to Dutch Country

Take the train in Strasburg, then visit the RR Museum. Next is Gettysburgh, followed by Biglerville and Hershey. Then off to Halifax and the boiling pool.
