Somerset Historical Center

The Somerset Historical Center interprets southwestern Pennsylvania rural life, from the first Native American farmers and the rugged pioneer struggles of the 18th century through the commercial farming ventures of the mid-20th century. Original tools, utensils, furnishings, machinery and structures are used in living history programs and the Mountain Craft Days folk festival to recall events and activities in the lives of the people who settled and formed the region.
