Seven Springs Mountain Resort was ranked No. 1 for its terrain parks and pipes for the fourth year in a row by TransWorld SNOWboarding and SKI magazines. Camelback Mountain Resort  in Tannersville offers skiing and snowboarding trails for all skill levels, terrain parks and half-pipe area. This season, the resort has expanded its snow tubing area to 38 lanes and two magic carpets making it the biggest snow tubing park in the U.S. Guests can also ride the new 4,500-foot Alpine Mountain Coaster. The resort has also installed a 50’ by 50’ inflatable stunt bag.
Shawnee Mountain , located in Shawnee on Delaware, is the closest ski area to Metro New York and features excellent beginner programs for children as young as three learning to ski, while the WEEriders program provides snowboarding lessons to children as young as four.
The nearby Elk Mountain Ski Area  in Union Dale features the highest altitudes in Pennsylvania with 27 slopes and trails, and is partnering with the Endless Mountains Innkeepers Association  to offer getaway packages at charming, eclectic and historic B&Bs and country inns that are distinct to the region, including Stone Bridge Inn & Restaurant  and Crestmont Inn , as well as Holiday Inn Express - Gibson .

Often considered Pennsylvania’s best kept secret, Blue Knob All Seasons Resort  in Claysburg – about 30 miles southwest of Altoona – has the longest trails in the state. Fulfill the need for speed at Ski Denton Resort  and Sawmill Mountain Resort . For a day of snow-swishing fun, try Ski Denton Resort in Coudersport, Potter County, offering a peak elevation of 2,400 feet, 23 skiing and snowboarding trails ranging from easy to black diamond; or Sawmill Mountain in Morris, Lycoming County, offering 13 skiing and snowboarding trails, a terrain park and snow tubing area.
Seven Springs Mountain Resort  located in western Somerset County was recently selected as the top destination for terrain parks and pipes on the East Coast for the fourth consecutive year by readers of TransWorld SNOWboarding and SKI magazines.
