Ridley Creek provides history, scenic beauty and natural wonders. Shaded equestrian, hiking and bicycling trails lace the woodlands and old meadows, providing perfect places for relaxing. Picnic areas offer tables restrooms and charcoal grills. Several of the areas have large fields, playground equipment, and picnic pavilions that can be reserved for a fee. Ridley Creek is stocked with trout. The 5-mile, paved Multi-use Trail is designated for bicycles, joggers/walkers and cross-country skiers. Hidden Valley Farms operates a stable within the park that provides an assortment of horse related services. The Colonial Pennsylvania Plantation provides visitors with an accurate picture of life on a Delaware County farm prior to the American Revolution, with animals typical of the period and authentically clothed historical interpreters. Open weekends from April to November.
