The York County Heritage Trust is a not-for profit education institution that operates three museums and five historic buildings in downtown York, PA. The properties include: The Historical Society Museum and Library/Archives; The Agricultural and Industrial Museum; The Fire Museum of York County; the Golden Plough Tavern, General Gates House, Barnett Bobb Log House and the Bonham House. The Trust also maintains the Murals of York, a larger-than-life public art project that depicts various aspects of the rich history of York County.
