From Monet to music to mansions, western Pennsylvania is a region rich in history and culture! Its museums offer something for everyone from exciting and interactive exhibits, activities for children and their families, special tours, unique educational programs and outreach performances. These museums acquire, conserve, research, communicate, and exhibit artistic, cultural, industrial, natural and/or scientific heritage. The museums are located in 17 counties: Allegheny, Armstrong, Beaver, Blair, Butler, Cambria, Clarion, Crawford, Fayette, Greene, Indiana, Jefferson, Lawrence, Somerset, Vena, Washington and Westmoreland.
