These museums acquire, conserve, research, communicate, and exhibit artistic, cultural, industrial, natural and/or scientific heritage.
The museums are located in 17 counties: Allegheny, Armstrong, Beaver, Blair, Butler, Cambria, Clarion, Crawford, Fayette, Greene, Indiana, Jefferson, Lawrence, Somerset, Vena, Washington and Westmoreland.
