The Southern Lancaster County Historical Society collects and preserves the heritage of the townships in southern Lancaster County. The society also operates an archive, hosts workshops and sponsors many special events throughout the year. They supply tour guides and take care of maintenance of the Robert Fulton birthplace, which is owned by the Pennsylvania Museum Commission.
