Discover youth baseball's roots. Announce a game, hit, pitch and run. Visit the Hall of Excellence.
From its small beginnings in 1939 as a three-team league in Williamsport, through today with millions of participants in countries around the globe, the Peter J. McGovern Little League Museum is a tribute to Little League, past and present. The museum, completely renovated in June 2013, tells a chronological story of the league's development. From displays featuring artifacts of the three original little league teams in 1939 to a display of bats signed by all the past championship teams and everything in between. Each year the museum also inducts past Little League graduates into the Hall of Excellence, the most prestigious honor in Little League Baseball.
