The Lackawanna Historical Society is located in the Catlin House, a 1912 pre-Tudor style house museum that features local history exhibits related to coal mining and the railroad, county archival collections, period furnishings, and decorative arts. The research room is open to the public and walking tours of Lackawanna County are available with a reservation.
