The Bible Lands Museum at Pittsburgh Theological Seminary displays artifacts from the Western Asia that date from pre-history into the Middle Ages. The exhibit includes a variety of ceramic forms, and artifacts of stone, bone, glass as well as rare organic materials. The core of the collection came to Pittsburgh through seminary-sponsored excavations that began in 1926.
