The Berwick Historical Society preserves the heritage of the area. The Society operates the Jackson Mansion which was built in the years 1877-1879.  The style of the Mansion is Victorian with touches of Gothic and Eastlake and is made of Vermont stone.  Situated to the rear of the Mansion is the Society's headquarters, the Carriage House Museum and Library, which served as the carriage house during the Jacksons'reign.
