The Rupp House is the home of the Friends of Gettysburg, the membership department of the Gettysburg Foundation. The Friends of Gettysburg care for the Gettysburg battlefield by building and painting fences, restoring monuments and raising funds to support battlefield rehabilitation efforts.
The Rupp House features interactive exhibits about the Rupp family, who lived in town during the Battle of Gettysburg, and other exhibits on 19th-century culture, civilians, soldiers and the preservation work critical to understanding the Battle of Gettysburg. The Rupp House is open to the public and admission is free. Open weekends beginning May 2008
