Today's travelers no longer come to The Riverside Inn to enjoy the restorative powers of the long-gone mineral springs; they are instead refreshed by the unique and tranquil atmosphere, award-winning dining, and nationally-known entertainment. Open from April through December, this historic site (on the National Register of Historic Places) is situated picturesquely on the banks of French Creek and a convenient 20 miles from Erie and Meadville, and is just 90 miles from Buffalo, Pittsburgh and Cleveland. The Inn's Concord Dining Room features gracious dining 7 days a week. The dinner theatre plays host to more than 100 performances each year. Each of 74 guest rooms is decorated with beautiful Victorian-era antiques. The Inn is also an ideal spot for weddings, banquets and meetings, while the beautifully maicured gardens and spacious veranda make the perfect spot for a relaxing afternoon.

The Inn was built in 1885 at the height of a "mineral water boom". Dr. Gray's "Charged" Spring Water was sold here as a cure-all...and the hotel was originally build as a place for rest, relaxation and recuperation.
