Naeskahoni Town is an actual-size French and Indian War-era living village, nestled on Chestnut Ridge, 5 miles northeast of Blairsville, Pa. The purpose of this village is to educate children/adults about the Eastern Woodland culture. They brought together five different cultures in ten different structures. Each structure provides an opportunity for hands-on activities, suited for pre-schoolers or up. These activities allow each person to participate in the daily life chores of the Eastern Woodland people. By reservation only. Open to the public from Apr. 1 - Nov. 15. Tours are 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. daily. Individual or group tours rates: Adults $10, students $6, senior citizens $8, groups of 10 or more $6. 100% educational.
