A unique Pennsylvania Historical Site that depicts life as it was in a company town in the 1800s. Weekend guided tours (Sat. 10 to 4 and Sun. 12 to 4) feature the last waterwheel powered cold blast charcoal furnace that was in operation in the USA; two floors of the lovely Roland Curtin Mansion (1830) a Federal-style home furnished with period antiques. Visitors can also tour the worker's village. Admission is $4 adults and $1 children. Open from Memorial Day to October 28.
