Christ Church, founded in 1695, is known as The Nation's Church because of the famous Revolutionary-era leaders who worshiped here, including Ben Franklin and George Washington. The church is still an active church and is one of the finest examples of Georgian architecture in America. Informative talks by Christ Church's historians are given throughtout the day.
