This course is located on the second highest mountain in Pennsylvania. Herds of deer are frequently seen on the course, as well as an occasional black bear. The course is extremely straight and narrow, with trees lining the fairways, and the greens are flat. Hole number 7, a 415-yard par four, requires a tee shot onto a fairway that slopes downhill and to the left.
