The Winnie Palmer Nature Reserve is an educational/environmental center and recreational area. Outdoor plantings include butterfly, wildflower, and seasonal gardens, an area to raise crops for research and demonstration, and native meadowland, trees, and plants that will encourage wildlife and wetlands. Winding trails provide a unique location to reach out to the community through nature, recreation, culture, and history as the WPNR provides a variety of educational programs and activities.
