Lake Erie Arboretum contains more than 250 varieties of trees. It's open 365 days a year and is free to all visitors. Summer activities include Arts at the Arboretum performance series, Movies at the Arboretum, the Annual LEAF Festival and various horticulture lectures/demonstrations while in January a Winterfest is held. Hiking/ biking trails, a meditative labyrinth, a playground and tennis courts as well as sled riding hills during the winter are all available in the arboretum, making it an educational and recreational oasis for all visitors.
