The 78-acre park lies in a steep-walled, rocky gorge. The park is especially beautiful in June when the mountain laurel blooms in June and in October during the peak fall foliage. Raven Trail runs the length of the park. Several other trails provide steep access to rocky outcrops or access to longer hiking trails on Tiadagton State Forest land, including the 177-mile Mid State backpacking trail. Proper attire and good physical conditioning are recommended for your comfort and safety. Rauchtown Run provides excellent cold water fishing for brown and brook trout.
