The Amish Village

In the heart of Lancaster County, just down the street from Sight & Sound Millennium Theatre, is a 12-acre village offering an authentic look at Amish life. Our guides will answer your questions and share accurate, up-to-date information about Lancaster County Amish.

There are two ways to experience The Amish Village: enjoy an escorted Farmhouse Tour, followed by self-exploration of our Village Grounds; or enjoy our 90-minute Backroads Bus Tour. Combine the two for the most in-depth experience.

Village Grounds include:• Barn with animals• Village store - Amish-made crafts and souvenirs• Smokehouse Market - Amish-made goodies• Blacksmith Shop - available for custom programs, including our Lunch and Learn series for groups• Amish one-room schoolhouse (real Amish teacher seasonally)Open Daily:• Free parking• Open 7 days a week: March – December• Bus Tour times vary.
