A visit to the Wendell August Flagship Store is an experience you won't soon forget! It is home to the nation's oldest and largest forge still in operation. Guests can tour the workshop, first opened by Mr. Wendell August in 1932, and watch as skilled artisans and craftsmen create one-of-a-kind metal giftware in aluminum, solid bronze, copper, fine pewter and sterling silver. There is also a chance for you to take a turn at being a craftsman at our interactive hand hammering room located in our workshop. Workshop tours are free to the public and are available Monday-Saturday 9 am - 4 pm. (workload permitting)
