The Lackawanna County Trolley Museum, located on the Steamtown National Historic Site Grounds, open daily 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The museum is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays during January, February and March. Hours of operation these months are 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Located in a resplendently restored late 19th century mill building features interactive exhibits and displays, including vintage trolleys. Ride historic trolleys for a 5 1/2 mile trip over Roaring Brook through the mile long tunnel and along the original "Laurel Line" up to PNC Field, operating from Thursday through Sunday. Trolley operates on a regular schedule through October 27th. Ride departure times: 10:30 a.m., 12:00 p.m., 1:30 p.m., 3:00 p.m. Please arrive 15 minutes before each scheduled time to purchase your tickets. Departure is from the Steamtown boarding platform. Museum and excursion prices are separate fees. Holidays closed: Easter Sunday, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Year's Day.
