This exhibition features the artwork of The Farmland Preservation Artists of Central Pennsylvania, a group of 16 artists dedicated to promoting the appreciation and preservation of our area's farmland through the visual arts.
These artists work in a variety of media: acrylic, oil, watercolor, soft pastel, and photography. As one of the artists said, "The joy of experiencing the farm landscapes becomes magnified and continues long after the painting is done". The Farmland Preservation Artists aspire to awaken the community's awareness of the visual beauty and agricultural richness that contributes to what is unique about Centre County.
The Farmland Preservation Artists of Central Pennsylvania was formed in 2005 in partnership with the Art Alliance of Central Pennsylvania and the Centre County Farmland Trust.
The exhibit runs from April 27 through November 14 and is open during Mansion tour hours on Sunday, Wednesday, and Friday, 1 to 4 p.m.
