PA Beer, Wine and History Tours "The Mobile Classroom"

March 15, 2016 - December 31, 2017
The Lost Pint: Pub Crawl through History
high point commons, Harrisburg, PA 17111 GET DIRECTIONS
Local: 717-503-7890
Pennsylvania is a noted brewing state; the BBC recommends Pennsylvania as the place to start for touring breweries in the North Eastern region of the USA! The Lost Pint is headquartered in the state capitol, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Conveniently, we humans benefit from the geology of this area; Pennsylvania water is excellent for brewing. Water has a lot to do with making quality beer. I believe that Pennsylvania’s English and German heritage has contributed to the proliferation of breweries in Pennsylvania. The Harrisburg-Philadelphia corridor manifests a clustering of quality breweries; there are more breweries in the Southeast region than any other part of the state! The Lost Pint is well positioned to exploit this clustering, and you are invited to ride along in The Lost Pint’s mobile classroom. The Lost Pint offers a value added guided touring service. This is not a pick-up/drop-off service, with underpaid employees regurgitating memorized scripts. The Lost Pint is an educational experience that allows you to get-to-know the area and learn about history, beer, wine, and whiskey. The tour is conducted like a college classroom experience, hence the “mobile classroom” descriptor. The Lost Pint conducts tours with didactic discourse that is engaging and fun.
