Ned Smith Center will host a "harvest" of autumn fun on Saturday, October 11, 2014 from 12 p.m. - 4 p.m. This annual event is designed to increase awareness of the natural world with many activities for children and families, including live animal presentations. Attendees can also get their face painted, visit the pumpkin patch, create a fall decoration at the "Art Creation Station," and try their skills at a round of Pumpkin Bowling and children's train rides. This event is a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the autumn harvest. The fall is a great time for families to get together and enjoy nature. Many of the activities planned for the day will give families a greater appreciation for the environment. There will be activity stations representing both nature and the arts, so it's a great day to see their mission come to life on so many different levels. It really is a fun day for all!
