This is not a race but an endurance challenge. This is for anyone who wants to test him or herself against the trail.
Begin From SR 66 south of Marienville, PA North Country National Scenic Trail trailhead , and hike the NCT for either 25, 50 or 100 miles, which ever they choose to PA 346 NCT trail head just south of the New York line.. This is a personal challenge, no awards or top prizes will be given out. You hike with all your gear and food and camp in the forest where ever you want to. Contestants will park their cars at their finish point and then get a free shuttle to the beginning. A donation and pre-registration is required.
