Pennypacker (1903-1907) and his family.  See an unusually well-documented historic home that contains original Pennypacker family furnishings, thousands of personal & official documents, and learn about the family and servants who lived here in the 1900's.  A world-renown historian & collector, Pennypacker led Progressive reforms in child labor, the environment, health, and other key areas.

At the Annual Civil War Reunion witness the excitement of the War through music, living history, kids'programs, military encampments, & a daily battle! Discover both Pennsylvania and American history in the 1900's History. Open seasonally, a visit to the General Store, Telegraph Office, or the Coal Mine activities offers authentic experiences in history. Visit the Children's Heritage Garden to explore heirloom plants and how they were used in the Victorian kitchen.
