The only covered bridge in Pennsylvania crossing the West Branch of the Susquehanna River. Built in 1875, this Burr Arch Truss Bridge covers a 107-foot span with an original cost of $175. After a century of use, Clearfield County's only covered bridge was renovated in 1978 and again in the mid-1990s following damage by a heavy snowfall. Adjacent to picnic grove. Near Mahaffey on Route 219, just south of intersection of Route 219 and Route 36.
