The Lehigh Valley's seven quaint and historic covered bridges are highlighted on this self-guided tour. The oldest bridge on the tour dates back to 1839. These bright red bridges are popular with artists and photographers, especially in fall when the changing foliage provides a beautiful backdrop. While several of the bridges are closed to vehicular traffic, all are opened to foot traffic.
