Danley Covered Bridge

DOGWOOD ROAD, West Finley, PA 15377 GET DIRECTIONS
Set in a rustic and charming corner of Washington County, Danley Covered Bridge crosses Robinson Fork of Wheeling Creek near West Finley on a gravel road. The bridge is covered with vertical plank siding on both sides and portals and has a sheet metal roof. The Danley also has a deck of crosswise planking and is supported with two sets of wooden timber that rests in the streambed. The 11'10' by 39' Queenpost truss construction is all sawed which indicates the construction is post-1860.
