Lincoln Square

1 Lincoln Sq, Gettysburg, PA 17325-2205 GET DIRECTIONS
In 1761, Samuel Gettys established a tavern in the area today known as Gettysburg. Just twenty-five years later, his son James had laid out a town of 210 lots with a central town square on the land surrounding the tavern. Today, several original buildings including the historic David Wills House, where Lincoln stayed November 18, still stand in our active town square.
