The 513 acres that make up Sadsbury Woods include one of the largest remaining unfragmented woodlands in Chester County. The preserve is an important habitat for interior nesting birds and small mammals. The Preserve's birds include several neo-tropical migratory songbirds such as Scarlet Tanager, Rose-breasted Grosbeak and Ovenbird.
