Pymatuning is one of the largest state parks in the Commonwealth. Boats with 10HP or less are permitted on the lake. There are three boat marinas, 645 campsites, and 25 modern rental cabins are available year-round. The "spillway" is perhaps one of the best known locations because "ducks walk on the fishes' backs" to compete for food fed by the visitors. Four bathing beaches are open from Memorial Day through Labor Day. In the winter there is ice fishing, ice-skating, sledding, iceboating, cross-country skiing and snowmobiling. Accessible picnic tables and parking spaces are designated. Six modern state park cabins are accessible. Accessible restrooms are located at various locations in the park. Accessible campsites, restroom and shower facility, and boat dock are located at the Tuttle Campground. There is also an accessible boat launch and fishing access in the main day use area of the park. An accessible fishing pier is located at the Espyville Marina and the Shenango River.
