Located less than a mile from the great Allegheny Passage Bike Trail, this 100-acre farm built between 1872 – 1887 in the vernacular “four over four†design, the Hanna House farmstead is a significant example of a nineteenth century agricultural complex. Unlike many early Pennsylvania homes whose architectural integrity has been compromised over time, Hanna House has retained its authenticity for more than one hundred years and open year ‘round with many activities and sites to enjoy for every season. The nearby Ohiopyle and the Youghiogheny River Gorge offers experiences of roaring white water rapids and water falls for whitewater rafting, kayaking and hiking. Visit Frank Lloyd Wright's Fallingwater and Kentuck Knob, ride the equestrian and snowmobile trails of Sugar Loaf or catch a glimpse of an Osprey or American Bald Eagle from the Baughman Trail Overlook. Before experiencing the adventures, make sure to have a full breakfast served every morning. Special group rates available.
