Enjoy the evenings huddled around a crackling campfire and listen to elk bugle all night long! Elk Mountain Homestead is owned and operated by the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation. The mission of the Elk Foundation is to ensure the future of elk, other wildlife and their habitat. All proceeds will be used for the benefit of elk and other wildlife. The Homestead has 3 bedrooms, one with 4 double beds, one with 2 double beds and the master bedroom. Each bedroom is carpeted. A full, newly remodeled bath and shower are available upstairs. Bedding and bath towels are provided. The kitchen is fully equipped. Outside is a covered porch with a swing, gas barbecue grill, large fenced in lawn area and mountain-pie irons. An outdoor fire ring is provided including a generous supply of firewood.
