Routes: 6, 18, 618 and 285, Crawford County

At the western gateway to Route 6, just outside of Linesville, there's an area almost entirely untouched by man, allowing the beauty of nature to stand out.

Follow Route 6 east to catch a view of Pymatuning Lake. Pymatuning is Pennsylvania's largest man-made lake and includes Pymatuning State Park and the famous (and unusual) Pymatuning Spillway, "where the ducks walk on the fish." Linesville also features gift shops, including Treasured Gifts, the Linesville Museum and the haunted Knickerbocker Inn.

Stay on Route 6 East until you come to Conneaut Lake, Pennsylvania's largest natural glacial lake. The resort town of Conneaut Lake is home to Conneaut Lake Park, a 120-year-old amuseument park with the Blue Streak wooden roller coaster, lakefront hotel and club for nightlife. There is much to see and do here. Fishing, of course, takes the bait. Conneaut Lake holds two state fishing records. The area is also home to Ice House Park, paddleboat rides, farmers markets, gift shops for collectibles and lakefront restaurants.
