Cobb’s Creek is a 36-hole facility & is home to The Olde Course, which is 'Ranked #6 Best Municipal Course in America' by Golf Week Magazine. Built in 1916, it was designed by renowned architect, Hugh Wilson (designer of the famed Merion G.C.). The course boasts many accolades & has hosted two PGA Tour events. The crown jewel features a classic mature tree-lined layout & many design similarities to that of Merion. Accuracy is paramount on the front as the creek comes to play on the first 6 holes. The back nine demands length with a string of lengthy par-4's & the monstrous 638-yard #14, which is amongst the Philadelphia Inquirer’s 'Dream 18'. The Olde Course hosts the Philly Better Ball & Phila. Open Amateur & is listed as a 'Top 100 Must Play Course' by GolfStyles Mag. The Karakung Course opened in 1930 & was designed to offer a softer challenge for the everyday golfer. Accuracy outweighs length and several elevation chnages determine club selection on this fun filled layout.
